Erik Mattsson

CEO and Founder

Erik Mattsson founded Ordrum in 1996. He is a lecturer, moderator and trainer in communication.

What is it that makes some people seem almost luminescent? Is it innate or can it be learnt? Erik shows in his lectures and workshops that communication is a skill that everyone can learn to master. However, it takes practice – but there are simple techniques. Humour is one of them.

Erik has developed a number of methods and materials for communication training. He has written the Speaker’s Cookbook and the Meeting Cookbook, and he has created our 28-day hybrid course in presentation technique: Presentation skills for Groups. He also delivers our Masterclasses in Presentation Skills and Effective Meetings.

Erik is responsible for a doctoral course at Chalmers University of Technology, trains future lawyers at the Swedish Bar Association and teaches at Stockholm School of Economics Executive Education. He also regularly participates as a guest lecturer at Uppsala University and Karolinska Institutet. Over the years, he has been part of internal training programmes at Volvo Cars, IKEA, SKF, SSAB, Toyota Material Handling, Region Kalmar, Region Västra Götaland and several municipalities, including Norrköping, Linköping and Mjölby.

He is affiliated with several speaker agencies and training companies, including MySpeaker, Athenas, Talarpoolen, Speakers & Friends, Kunskapsgruppen and Ny Teknik Education.

Erik has a degree in political science. He has also studied mathematics, economic history, physics and rhetoric. He has been chairman of the Red Cross Youth Association, taught rhetoric at Uppsala University and worked as an actor.

Erik also works as a moderator and facilitator. He works in Swedish and English. He is based in Gothenburg and Stockholm.
